Excellent food and service
The Bakgkok Houses has been a consistent and excellent culinary delight for many years. They have been consistent in terms of quality, service and attention to detail since we first stumbled upon the establishment in 1986. Savour the delights of the crispy duck, pad thai or fresh fish special. The staff has always been courteous, warm, congenial and memorable. My children would navigate the periphery of the planet for a meal there. We recommend it as one of the most memorable and consistently good dining establishments on the planet. My family has traveled to the Big Island on many occasions and were stranded there on Sep 11, 2001. The staff at the Bangcock Houses and the Kanaloa at Kona were more than sympathetic, gracious and comforting during our extended, unforseen and remarkable stay on the Big Island.    [11 Sep 2003 00:32:14]
