The menu mainly features seafood, with a steak selection that was reduced from earlier menus, and occasional specials. Dine inside or on the open lanai. There is also an appetizer (pupu) menu.

So ono!
Excellent steak house right across the street from the beach. Tiki torches and local music playing. Great salad bar and all dishes are fresh.    [30 Jun 2003 03:08:35]

Oh how I miss Buzz's.
Those were the days...Days spent rollerblading around the loop in Lanikai, afternoons swimming in Kailua, and Tuesday nights at Buzz's steak house. Wine was 2 for 1 on Tuesdays, but the reason I found myself in that most blissful and wonderful restaurant was the killer salad bar. Fresh avocados, amazing tomatoes...The list goes on. And, of course, the freshly caught seafood. I think I once met one of the guys who brought in the fresh catch of the day. It made me want to eat there all the more. A small, friendly place with unbelievable ambiance - they do little or no advertising and are always busy, just from world-wide word-of-mouth. Excellent selection of $7 fruity drinks - Buzz's Mai Tai, for example; limit of 3 per customer (3 full shots of rum). Food is superb (especially when "Roger" is the chef).    [21 Apr 2004 15:32:53]

Great place, I used to cook there years ago. Be advised ... they don't accept credit cards. Story was the big credit card companies snubbed Buzz years ago when he first opened and they've decided against giving the credit card companies their business ever since.
