I was meeting a bunch of co-workers after work and got held up at work so I was late. The waitresses were so rude we were all in shock. Several people had been there before and were surprised by the horrible treatment. We begged for a couple of glasses for the wine that we had brought in. The waitress rudely explained how we should be happy she wasn't charging my friend and I for the entire meal since we had dared to show up late. The problem was neither of us asked for any discounts and didn't expect one! She made us feel like poor homeless people begging for scraps. I was trying this place out for the first time because I wanted to bring my husband there during his R&R from Iraq next week. Needless to say this place is scratched off the list and we have also decided not to have next years office Christmas gathering there. Beware the Late Diner!    [20 Jan 2007 05:34:11]

Wonderful doesn't cover it
Unlike a certain other reviewer of this restaurant, I had a most wonderful experience here. I had never eaten Morrocan food, and for those who haven't, it's very similar in makeup to most Med/Middle Eastern cuisines.
When my friend and I arrived we were shown to our table and offered drinks while we decided on the main course.
I chose the rack of lamb while my friend had the kabobs.
The salad plate was a little skimpy, but delicious. I would have glady given up the hummus for more of that wonderful marinated eggplant. The lentil soup was absolutely delicious. The meats on the main course were perfect. My rack (4 bones) was probably the tenderest, most delicious lamb I have eaten. My friend had the kabobs, and the meat was seared beautifully and spiced to perfection.
The sweet spearmint tea was the perfect drink after this mildly spicy and delightful meal.
The waitress we had was both professional and personable. She brought our courses with perfect timing, allowing us to converse and savor each course without feeling hurried. I would, and will, definitely eat here again.    [03 May 2007 21:47:37]
