ONO!!!! The food an service were Ono (delicious)! I definitely recommend reservations because the restaurant gets packed! The taste and spices are satisfying to the taste buds and if you cannot tolerate spices the mild would be just as ono!
The service was excellent! Who can beat the owner sweating and making sure everything was perfect!
If you go on the right nights there is entertainment from a man with a beautiful, soothing voice! [17 Aug 2004 19:29:52]

We Call Toy This little family owned and operated restaurant is a hidden treasure. It is absolutely the best authentic Thai food I have enjoyed in the USA. The owner, Toy, is known to the "regulars" as "Mama". She is a retired chef from a large retirement/nursing project not far away. She has gathered family members together to create an excellent experience in authentic Thai cuisine. The spring rolls wrapped in lettuce with a mint leaf are out of this world, My favorite dish is the garlic shrimp and my wife loves the ginger mahi mahi. The food is always served hot and is prepared seasoned to your preference. The family creates a special home made coconut ice cream that is to die for. Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant does not have a liquor license and encourages you to bring your own wine or other livation. There is NO corkage fee. [28 Apr 2006 14:38:57]

The Best Since we moved to the windward side (about 20 years ago), we've been eating here whenever we can.
If you get here early (5:30) there is usually no line.
All the food is awsome, but if you are going to order the food hot (or even medium), make sure you can handle. [07 Sep 2006 18:25:01]

Best Authentic Thai Food I have had while in the States. I just took my wife and son (Thai) to Chao Phya. We are typically very skeptical of going to Thai resteraunts in the states as we are almost always dissapointed in that the menu is not authentic. My family was extremly surprised and pleased with the quality of the food. It is without a doubt authentic. Chao Phya recieved the enthusastic endorsement of my wife who is a native of Bangkok Thailand. Great food and Toi is a very nice and hospitable lady. [26 Dec 2006 20:26:07]

One of the best Thai restaurants in Oahu Food is really but the place gets pretty busy. I normally call for take out. But I've searched around and this is the closest to a good authentic Thai restaurant on this Island. [09 Feb 2008 00:04:46]
