Lots of great food to taste Vinos serves tapas for dinner. Tapas are small plates. This means you get to taste small portions of several wonderful entrees, instead of just one large portion of one entree. It also allows you to eat less, if you are like me in thinking that many restaurant entrees are just too much food. And you can save money by just ordering the amount of food (the number of small plates) that is right for you.

Great wine prices, ok food and ambience I made my reservation 2 months ahead for party of 10 at 8pm 12/26/06. I reconfirm on 12/25/06 after I checked in at the Ritz. When we arrived at 8pm we were told we have to wait 30 minutes which turn out to be 55 minutes instead. The manager did applogies and gave us 5 free appertizers but I hope they will be more organized in the future. The ambience in general was OK for a tapas restaurant but I still think they should have table cloth for dinner. The best part is their wine prices. They are so reasonable not only in Hawaii but anywhere in the US. I order Silver Oak (Alexander Valley) 2003 Cab. for $78/750ml. You cannot even get it from winnery for less than $70 + shipping. Other wines are also a bargain. Food was so so but again price are reasonable especailly for Kapalua. Their "award wining" braised short rib was "over brasised" and rendered the meat taste-less. I suggest calling them 1 hr ahead to make sure they have your table ready and enjoy your meal with your favorite wine without breaking the bank. Aloha. [11 Jan 2007 14:38:30]
