WOW!!! I loved it! And so did the kids! It was absolutely the best food we had in Maui! Best Italian anywhere! I want to go back to Maui and Part of the reason is this restaurant! My mouth still waters at the thought. Unfortunately we didn't discover this restaurant until our last night there, or I'd have been there daily! (Come to think of it, that may have been a good thing as I made a pig of myself the one time I was there!) Mmmmm! [22 Jul 2004 22:23:24]

Memorable Experience I asked my 13 year old what he wanted to do in Maui this time. He replied that he wanted to eat at Badda Bing every night. Food was great. We ate several times on our last visit. We actually chose to stay in Kihei because of it's closeness to the boat ramp and Badda Bing. [25 Oct 2004 02:29:35]

Yummy!! I too had the pleasure of discovering Bada Bings the night before my departure. I started out ordering a pasta dish with chicken wings as my appetizer. However when the wings came they were so tasty that I cancelled the pasta and ate the wings as my meal. Wings and wine what a combination. I will be returning to Maui and I'm already recommending Bada Bing as a must stop shop!!! [21 Jan 2005 20:55:16]

Tried again and it hasn't improved. 2-1/2 months later and it's still a bad experience. Terrible service, weird-tasting food. Wrote to the owner after the first bad experience and he said he would improve things but it sure didn't show. [31 Jul 2005 01:35:56]

Incredible Meals, Service and Fun Environment My husband and I were on vacation on Maui in Kihei and were fortunate enough to find Bada Bings. We ate there alot. Everything we tried was delicious.
We plan on returning there and Stella Blues Restaurant in Kihie on our next trip to Maui. [07 Jul 2006 15:05:51]

A MUST ON YOUR ITINERARY! My husband and I met the owner at his breakfast restaurant (can't remember the name of the owner or the restaurant!). We chatted with him, and he mentioned Badda Bing. We are indebted! We wanted to cruise the menu item by item after the first experience. The meatballs are in a class by themselves. We liked it so much, we took our newlywed son, daughter-in-law & wedding party there for another enjoyable evening. The bar area is also inviting. [28 Aug 2006 09:17:23]

A word about Bada Bing in Maui... Let me tell you something. I'm from New Jersey. When I saw "New Jersey Italian" and the name "Bada Bing" on a restaurant sign in Hawaii, only one thought crossed my mind. "This guy took a familiar phrase from the Sopranos to hook people in, and the food is gonna suck." I'm rarely wrong about these things. I'm glad I decided to test my theory, and I have never been happier to be wrong. This place was amazing. The wait staff was friendly at sat my Italian family and I quickly during the busy lunch rush. Our waitress, Joline (I think) was very courteous, knowledgable about the menu and what to recommend to first timers, as well as my picky off-the-boat mother. One thing we instantly knew was that this food was made from a family recipe book. The food was incredible. Fresh, al dente, flavorful, and most importantly... authentic! My mother, the most ruthless Italian food critic was speechless. We ate there a total of 6 times during our two week stay in Maui, and each time was better than the last. The ONE thing we didn't like were the blackflies out on the outside dining decks... lots of 'em... which really couldn't be helped by the restaurant. Other than that, 5-STARS from an old-country Italian family. We raved about this place to another family we met in Maui who ate there and they said "We had a pizza... it wasn't that great, not like a regular pizza." Yeah... that's because the pizza at Bada Bing! is AUTHENTIC, which is NOT like regular pizza. If you want regular pizza, go to a "pizzeria" and ask Kamal to whip you up a pie. Bada Bing! won't serve that garbage at their place. Go to Bada Bing! in Kihei, Maui. It is true Italian family-recipe style food. If anybody says otherwise, they either don't have a clue what real food is, or they work for a competitor's restaurant, and they're gonna get their kneecaps busted. [23 Nov 2006 23:57:14]

The Great & the Not so Great The complimentary rolls / dough balls that come with your dinner at Bada Bing's are absolutely THE BEST bread thingys in the world. They say man cannot live on bread alone but this woman sure would like to try to live on these! If anyone has the recipe or if Bada Bings would give it out I sure would like to try them between now and our next trip to Maui! The not so good, well the table just wasn't clean enough - eek. And this is just a random observation - the table layout is a bit too funky. Not good "feng shui". But I would recommend the restaurant for sure! [31 Jan 2007 14:08:23]
