BEST FOOD & SERVICE
This is my favorite restaurant! I've been to many in California, New York, Asia, and Europe and nothing has even come close to this restaurant. This was the best experience of Maui. I had a wonderful 8 course meal accompanied with wine for $150/person. This may sound like alot, but honestly, I would have spent $250/each for the quality of the food. There are some reviews based on the prices at this place, but don't let that lead you away because for dinner they are very reasonable compared to other 5 star restaurants. Recommended Dishes: Scallops and Shrimp Simmered in Vermouth, Julienne of Leek, Gratin of Crab with Tomato and Mushrooms, Duchess Potato with Cheese, Cheese Platter (you must try the tomato tartar!!!), Mousse au Chocolat en Profiteroles.

Best food in Lahaina

World Class in Maui
Gerard's gives away nothing to any other restaurant located anywhere. The food is not only delicious, but immaculately presented so that the entire meal is a symphony of wonderful sights, smells, and tastes. The Plantation Inn, where Gerard's is located, provides low-key yet elegant surroundings to set off the restaurant. I ordered this
Scallops and Shrimp au Gratin Simmered with Vermouth in Crawfish Sauce and Duchess Potatoes Gratin de coquilles Saint-Jacques et crevettes mijotées au
vermouth, sauce Nantua et pommes Duchesse
and I had to pay $39.50 for 2 shrimps and 2 scallops !!!!!
