I agree. It's been 5 years since I lived in Ames and I still dream about this place. We ate there every day one summer (really!). They were like family. The schezuan beef is to die for!    [04 Sep 2006 15:43:53]

Fantastic!
Been there a few times now and wonder why I don't go there more often. The staff is amazing, very nice and make great recommendations. The chef is also very accommodating to whatever you can't/won't eat in a dish. I couldn't believe the size, number, and quality of scallops I got in a $7.50 plate! Just remember to bring cash or they'll tease you as you go off to the Swift Stop to use the ATM machine.    [10 Mar 2008 21:25:46]
