Spicy tasty delight! I go to Thai Kitchen, when I get bored with burgers, and Chinese foods. It has a variety of dishes, with different colored sauce. A little more expensive than other oriental restaurants in town, but its worth spending your extra bucks. [20 Jul 2003 16:19:40]

Best Food I've Ever Eaten! I never had a dish at Thai Kitchen that I did not like. It is served fresh and flavorful every time. The portion size and price are perfect, and the ambiance of the University community makes the dining experience very pleasant. [09 May 2005 10:04:49]

One of the best restaraunts in Iowa Thai kitchen is my favorite restaraunt in Iowa. The food is such a refreshing exciting experience. Many will complain about the interior being bland. If you want a bunch of tacky decor go to a TGI Friday's, or if you want great authentic food with nice simple service go to Thai Kitchen. Simply great. Do yourself a favor and go get some Thai Kitchen. [23 Jul 2005 14:54:02]

The ONLY place to eat in Ames This is the best restaurant in Ames, hands-down. There is obvious care and pride put into every dish, and I have always been pleased. Never had Thai food? Browse the expansive menu and you can find something for your taste. I recommend you start with a cup of soup. [15 Nov 2005 17:54:33]

Amazing food and people This place has a huge variety of food and I've never had anything bad here. Especially good for vegetarians and vegans. My 2 year old loves the food too and they will make things to order. The owners not only run a great restaurant, but are about the nicest people you'll meet. As others have said, the place is simple and not showy, but clean and a nice place to eat. If you want flashy surroundings and bad food, go to a chain restaurant. If you want great food every time, come here. I'm glad to say that it's been more crowded lately, demonstrating how great this place is. [20 Nov 2005 14:06:21]

I used to eat there 3-5 times a week when I was still in college. Now that I'm back home in Chicago, I get withdrawls from not being able to eat there anymore. Do yourself a favor and go. The service is unparallel and the food is amazing. [17 Apr 2006 11:18:48]

It Makes a Soldier Want to Return Home I used to eat there at least 3 times a week when I was going to school at ISU. Now i'm fighting the war in Iraq, and when i think of things i miss back home, and delicious food, I think of Thai Kitchen. [17 May 2006 11:56:28]

uh-may-ZING! Thai Kitchen is amazing. I used to live up the street from them and eat there a few times a month. The woman who normally greets you and takes your order is very friendly, taking time to answer any questions or make suggestions. I have never had anything below a fabulous experience there. I recommend it to everyone! [18 Jul 2006 17:44:40]

Best Pad Thai in America I've tried different Pad Thai at several restaurants across the country and none of them even come close to the deliciousness of Thai Kitchen's. Now that it's my last summer in Ames and I work close to campustown, I eat at Thai Kitchen basically every day for lunch (except Monday, when they are regrettably closed). Thai Kitchen is maybe the only thing I'll really miss about Ames that I'm sure I won't be able to find exactly the same anywhere else. [19 Jul 2006 11:53:45]
