I have been a regular customer for two years and I have never had a bad experience. It isn't an abundantly decorated place; the decor is simple. Laurel and Steve are the owners and are very cordial. Best Bagels in the Metro
Forget Brueggers and whatever other bakeries we've got. CJ's has got the best. Great service. Wonderful people. Awesome food. Best cream cheese frosting I've ever had. The prices are incredibly reasonable for what you get.    [05 May 2006 11:09:04]

Just a great place
The bagel bites are to die for! I am the only one from work that lives in Ankeny and bagel bites are always the number one request on food days!
They have expanded their seating which is great and they are very prompt when it come to quick service. I would recommend CJ Bagels over any others!    [11 Jul 2006 14:49:01]

Best food in Ankeny
I love CJ's bagels. I go there at least once a week. They have the best coffee, much better than Starbucks or anywhere else! They have great breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches.    [19 Feb 2008 14:14:45]

Best Bagels I've Ever Had!
