Excellent service. Great food. I like the combination platter of taco and enchillada. A best bet for Mexican food in Central Iowa!    []

Ever had Steak Jalisco? It is pretty good...
This restaurant is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Des Moines. It is pretty easy to find, and usually getting a booth or a table does not take long. If you try this place, and you like beef, try Steak Jalisco. The dish is a creamy, cheesy, real steak and mushroom concoction that is sure to please. They serve it w/tortillas, but I eat it w/o them. You won't really go wrong with any of the dishes, but stay away from the strawberry margaritas. They suck. Happy eats!!!    [27 Jan 2006 17:13:01]
