Best Restaurant in the Region The recent reader survey in the Iowa Source (www.IowaSource.com) was spot on. Fantastic food, attentive service, unusual ambience and a stellar wine list are what put Devotay at the top of the Iowa City scene. [09 Mar 2005 15:05:56]

Off the beaten path... This was one of the first restaurants I ate at upon moving to Iowa City, and it remains my favorite place. Cozy, but always lively, tasteful yet quirky - the people are as much a part of the ambiance as the candles. The food is incredible. Always fresh, flavorful and imaginative. The ONLY way to do tapas in Iowa City. My only grouse has ever been with the speed of service, and I'm sure that's only because they are always so swamped! [16 Feb 2007 14:40:07]
Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: The mussels are divine!! Applewood smoked trout, bacon wrapped dates and the scallops with saffron sauce. Any tapas.
