Sunday Brunch is Incomparable
Living in a resort area along the Gulf Coast, we have access to many wonderful restaurants, but whenever we return to our hometown of Marengo we always take all the family to P.H.A.T. Daddy's for Sunday brunch to enjoy an extraordinary dining experience that we don't find here. We've enjoyed other meals there as well, but wouldn't miss the brunch.    [04 Dec 2001 12:39:28]

It's nice to return home to fine dining that you find in the BIG Cities

Pretty Hot and Tasty Seasoning
Living in estern Iowa, I have enjoyed many of the homestyle cooking and fine dining experiences that it has to offer. This year, I heard of a little place in the town square in MarengoIowa about 65 miles from my home town. P.H.A.T Daddy's. WOW - The food has a uniquely salted and seasoned blend of flavors that I have never experienced. I never thought that eating green beans from a buffet would be so tantalizing to the taste buds. Steamed beans with peppers and onions and butter but there was something else that I couldn't put my finger on so I asked our server, who was adorned in a frilled and fringed shirt what the extra kick was. He replied that the restaurant has their own seasoning that you can buy right there at the counter as you leave, in fact there were two of them. PHAT Daddy's Seasoning and PHAT Daddy's Cajun Blackening seasoning. I had to take a bottle of each, Now when I cook at home I can enjoy some of the same flavor of PHAT Daddy's in my own home cooked food, I just don't get the service and the variety all in one.

P.H.A.T. Daddy's is pretty Phat!!
P.H.A.T. Daddy's has a wonderful family atmosphere and is a great place to work. My father Jeff Milner is a great cook. Mike and Jeff together do a wonderful job managing the restauraunt. I recommend you eat there. It's a great place to go with family.    [24 May 2005 20:11:27]

best restaruant ever
The servers are extremely nice and keep your glasses filled. Thier prime rib is delicious, as well as the sirloin, ribs, new york strips and thier pasta is great with fetticini, tortellini, penne, and spaghetti noodles. Their alfredo and marinara is awesome. And their staff is GREAT!!!!
