Finally a Nice Place in Southeast Iowa
I have visited this fine restaurant several times now and I have enjoyed it every time. The atmosphere is quiet and nicely Italian. When you combine this atmosphere with the generous meal portions, you can understand that the cornerstone theory of Italian food is eating much with friends in a comfortable place. Although the service has been slow at times (which I had heard from several other people) one has to understand the art of operating a new restaurant. The management and staff must take time to perfect what they do, and I appreciate that. It has gotten better and more efficient every time, as has the food. Bravo!    [17 Jun 2005 11:01:57]

DaVInci's - A Place to Go
Wow! DaVinci's was a breath of fresh air, in Ottumwa. The staff was great, the food was incredible, and the owner made us feel like family. The menu was not only Italian but American as well.
