My Expierience
Unfortunately if you are looking for a get in, get out restaurant this is not for you. It seems to be a popular eating establishment as there was a 30 min to an hour and a half wait. The service was excellent and friendly although a lot of hustle and bustle. Wonderful atmosphere and they know their regulars by name. A must try !    [12 May 2003 20:20:39]

El Rodeo has great food and even better service. The cheese dip is a sure hit with all diners. The margaritas are strong and satisfying. The food is authentic enough to keep critics happy but "American" enough to please non-Mexican food lovers. Every employee treats the customers very well. My Favorite
El Rodeo is my favorite place to go! The service if friendly and quick, the food satisfies those that love authentic and still offers a great range to those that don't so much make Mexican food their favorite. All tasts the same

Each & Every Visit is perfect! The staff go out of their way to provide exceptional customer service to us. My boys are always welcomed with a "high-five" or a pat on the head. We eat there at least once a week and everything is great every time!    [09 Dec 2006 11:48:47]

Love It!
We go to El Rodeo very often,and absolutely love it! The service is usually perfect, although sometimes you get a busy waiter. We usually order the Taco Salad Fajitas, and it is always wonderful. We have been going there since they opened 12 years ago and will continue! The lunch menu is a great deal, along with the lunch margaritas!

Best in Des Moines Area
