This place specializes in service and ambiance... and the food is darn good too. We did Cricket's for Valentines Day as a romantic night out. We got the table by the fireplace and an outstanding meal. There were moments when it got a little loud in there, since it's a bar as well as a restaurant, but it wasn't that bad. Our waitress actually remembered us from the last time we were there 7 MONTHS BEFORE... that impressed the heck outta me! The only "disappointment" was that my better half ordered the oysters and was kind of expecting the kind he used to get in California. He declared them "tasty enough, for what there IS of 'em..." and probably won't order them again. The prime rib was great and OHHHH the huckleberry daquiri!    [14 Jun 2005 01:12:18]
