Tense atmosphere
The food was great, the service was outstanding but, there was always a strange undercurrent that I couldn't put my finger on, until I met the owner. Our table could hear him yell at one of his employees, and I'm sure everyone else in his eloquent little restaurant could as well. Rex apologized and bought us a glass of wine, but I couldn't happen to feel sorry for whoever took his tongue lashing. I hope that is not that norm.    [26 Mar 2008 05:57:05]
