STEAK TRADITION IN KETCHUM
We enjoyed this popular dining spot in Ketchum this month (Jan'06) while on a ski trip. We met interesting people at the rustic bar while waiting for a table in this lively saloon. Dinner was definitely steak and potatoes...famous Idaho potatoes the size of water melons. Our steaks were grilled to perfection,tasty, and hit the spot on this cold night.

The servers and staff were attentive, friendly, and fun....ask for Amy. Mud pie was gigantic....they had to cart us out on wheel barrels. Definitely a Sun Valley tradition that will keep going as long as there are steak hungry people in Idaho. Don't miss.    [30 Jan 2006 09:10:20]

Can't wait to go back!!
It has been a year or two since I have been in Ketchum and ate at the Pioneer. I am determined to go this year, even though my Doc said with my breathing problems and the high elevation, I probably should stay home. But this is something I have to do, at least once more..    [16 Jun 2007 00:09:51]
