Best hornitos tequila in town...
I stop often for a good tequila on my way to visit my brother. Enrique knows I may want an "hornitos" and I have not had a better tequila anywhere. While I'm at it I also try some of his enchiladas..hmmm. Good stuff.    [15 Apr 2003 14:46:49]

I am originally from California (were I was able to enjoy the best in Mexican food. When I moved to Boise I was disappointed in the food I found; until I discovered El Gallo Giro. They have the best food I have ever had. El Gallo Giro offers authentic quality, excellent service, beautiful atmosphere, and large portions. The Best Mexican Food in Idaho
Pollo e Crema, is to die for. I am from California where good Mexican food is not hard to come by. Idaho was different story, until I was introduced to El Gallo Giro. Now all is as it should be. Don't Miss the Thursday & Friday Buffet!
My friend introduced me to Thursdays and Fridays at El Gallo Giro, and I'd like to do the same for you.

At lunchtime on Thursday and Friday, El Gallo Giro serves a wonderful buffet. Items have been different each time, but I've tried and enjoyed them all.

They always have fresh, hot nacho chips with a variety of salsas and bean dip. Each visit, someone has been grilling fresh tortillas.

Further inside the restaurant from the buffet line is the condiment and dessert area. There, you can dress your fajitas with sour cream, pico de gallo, or shredded cheese. Desserts are beautifully arranged. The fried doughnuts are not to be missed, and there's even a can of whipped cream if you so desire. Fresh fruits like cut strawberries and pineapple are served, and they also have flan.

Service has always been impeccable. We have always been treated like guests in someone's home. Drink glasses are kept full.
