Excellent Food
Our party of four enjoyed our lunch at this cute country cafe today. We ordered three different burgers (one plain, one cheese and one bacon) and a prime rib open face sandwich on Texas toast with mashed potatoes and gravy. The burgers were meaty and hot, the lettuce was crisp, and the tomatoes and onions were freshly cut. The fries blew all of us away, awesome! The prime rib sandwich was also high quality, with a juicy piece of meat, fluffy mashed potatoes and good, not too heavy (or too salty) gravy. The portions were large, we had to ask for a box, and the service was pleasant and dedicated.

All in all a super experience, the bill was less than thirty dollars with coffee and soda pop included. The only drawback was the taste of the water, a bit too chlorinated for our taste, but hardly worth mentioning as the rest of the dining experience was such a joy!    [05 Sep 2005 20:18:56]
