I Couldn't See Past The Smoke What was suppose to be a nice evening out with some friends, turned out to be one of the worst restaurant experiences in my 30 years. Upon entering through doors that weighed more than a cadillac, into a dark foyer, and through another door, we were finally in. The smoke was so thick, I almost choked...and I am a smoker. We were greeted by a "wanna-be" comedian, I believe her to be the owner. She thought she was queen of the world. I ordered a bottle of beer, which came back to me warm, which was the problem for several other companions, my wife's wine was not room temperature, but very warm (usually caused from storing wine bottles above a cooler or other heat source). Our red headed waitress saved the day, if it wasn't for her, we would of walked out! I ordered the "Fox Grill Burger" medium-well, with fries and beans. It came back rare. The fries were cold, and the baked beans were all liquid. I cannot eat a burger with the bun soaked in blood. My wife had some chicken sandwich..she said it tasted like a rubberband, and cold as well. This little spunky waitress did everything in her power, but unfortunately, we had to deal with the obnoxious owner. See made some smart mouthed (suppose to be funny) remark, and said she would remake our order, well we had a 7:00 movie to make, and did not have the time, she so kindly offered dessert. We would of taken it, but could not stand her anymore. We left our waitress a $40.00 tip on a $50.00 bill. She should find a better place to work. [23 Mar 2004 13:49:58]

Fun Place to Eat with Live Entertainment. If you enjoy a Friday night fish fry and some good live entertainment this is your place. The Fox Grill reminds me of my youth (back when Wisconsin's drinking age was 18), heading up to a Wisconsin Fishing lodge, enjoying a beer and fish fry. If you enjoy fried, mid-western food,(not afraid of calories)good music (on weekends) and a cold beer this is your place. Oh, fyi Fox Grill has put in a good filtration system so smoke is not a problem. Maybe you should try it again? [24 Jun 2006 15:34:17]

Excellent Fish Fry!! If you are looking for a good old fashioned fish fry this is your place. Served on Friday nights this is a house specialty. We thoroughly enjoy coming in for dinner. I have heard that their lunch specials are good also. If you are looking for a sandwich try the pulled pork or the pot-roast sandwich. The Fox Grill burger is also a favorite. [17 Feb 2009 21:03:17]
