Excellent Food!
My husband and I have been to Ju Rin many times over the years. They have maintained the same excellent level of service and food from the beginning. I really enjoy the Teppan grill (always a good show and not overcooked) but the regular menu is also very good. For a healthy but very yummy meal, try Ju Rin. Absolutely Wonderful
Pros: Great food, you can eat at either the cooking tables or at the regular tables. My husband loves the sashimi (tuna) and even my toddlers adore the sushi. Cooking tables are a blast...highly recommend the filet, my friends love the shrimp and filet. I don't drink but my friends love the sake and the plum wine. Not a huge bar selection but they have beer and wines I know!

They are so great with little kids that I can't even express.. we have a 2, 3 and 5 year old and dinner can get a little wild. At, Jurin they are so nice and sweet to the kids and we've been there a lot (probably over 20 times), no one is ever rude and the service is great. My husband is allergic to sesame seeds and they are great about making sure that none of his food has them.

Cons: hmmmm...well, Friday and Saturday you probably will need a reservation, I haven't won the lotto so I can't eat there every night and you'll be so full you roll out the door!    [28 Jul 2006 15:54:40]

Best Bargain in the Western Burbs!
I actually go to Jin Rin for their sushi which is one of the best bargains in the western 'burbs. For 5 or 6 dollars you get one roll, soup and salad! I usually add one or two pieces of fish and the bill is always around 18-20 dollars for two people without alcohol. The service is also excellent. The owner is very friendly and they are very fast. They are also very accommodating and have recently toned down the noise from the Hibachi tables, I believe. To an extent, you do get what you pay for, however. The rolls are a little on the small side so most men order 2. There are a few other sushi restaurants in the area but Jin Rin has them all beat in every category!    [23 Feb 2007 19:08:17]

Great Service, Great Pricing
I have used JuRin for both eat-in and take-out, and the service is always excellent. I don't have children, but I am always impressed by how wonderful they are with kids. The owner is so appreciative of everyone that comes in, it just makes you want to keep coming back!
