Roadside chow at the Circle B.
We stopped at this restaurant on our way back home from a Missouri road trip. The restaurant didn't look very promising from the outside but we both had a sense of adventure and decided to try it anyway. Once we got inside we were pleasantly surprised. The rustic decor in the dining room gives you the feeling of eating in one of those popular Western roadside steakhouses that you used to see on postcards from the 1960's. How cool is that? Great food and attentive service. Both of us had a delicious open-face steak sandwich, steak fries, and a drink. Really good food and moderately priced. We enjoyed the experience and we felt the food and service were a good value for the price. Separate bar area away from the dining room. Large parking lot. My family eats at Circle B Steakhouse frequently and would highly recommend it to anyone. It has a cozy western decor and the food is great. Steaks are the specialty, of course, but their grilled chicken breast, pork chops and shrimp are also very good. Normally we don't care to order pizza from a restaurant, but the pizzas at Circle B are outstanding!    [07 Feb 2005 10:33:24]
