Nightmare Birthday Celebration at Bogart's -Party of 11 people -One order was served incompletely; baked potato was forgetten and repeated requests were ignored -Another order was inaccurate; T-Bone steak was served instead of a Porterhouse -No offer was made by management to rectify the wrong order -Waitress was rude and surly -General Manager's appearance was slovenly -All and all a very unpleasant experience [15 Nov 2005 00:28:05]

Customer Service Recently, I visited this restaurant after one of my relatives chose to have a birthday dinner for a steak lover. She had good things to say about the restaurant.
This being my first visit, I looked expectantly to food and service value.
I didn't expect Morton's or Ruth Chris'. Although I overlooked missed placement of water, even after I had received my bar drinks, I became so thirsty I had to make a special request for water from the busboy.
The disaster came when the bill was presented and I asked for a recalulation. The waitress said she was busy and it would take 20 or more minutes.
I had noticed somewhere that lunch was 1-4pm but I was charged dinner prices. The 18% gratuity charge became 47% on the bill and NO recalculation was made. An unordered item was placed on the bill and no opportunity to make the correction was possible as our head waitress was BUSY.
The steak that someone ordered was underdone even though she ordered medium done and that had to be taken back to the kitchen.
The chicken pasta was oily tasting and not appetizing at all.
We went early in the day so this was not a busy time for this business. I can only imagine what happens in their rush period. [17 Mar 2006 19:20:12]

Great Food! Not Service The food was great. The steaks were perfectly prepared. When we had a few questions about the menu when ordering, our waitress looked at us as if we were speaking another language. She stared and smacked her gum, and then just kept going. Other than the service we loved it, the bread was great, and the steaks (the reason we were there) were outstanding. With a little staff shake up I think this could be one of my favorites. Don't know where they were I have eaten a Bogarts for at least 8 years. I've never had a complaint about the food or service. I don't know what happened the times those other people were there, but I love it. If I had to have a complaint. too much food? The bread a relish trays fill you up. then I have my meal to eat off of for the next 3-4 days. Can that be considered a complaint? lol. Best place for steaks [29 Apr 2006 16:54:28]

Great Food and Service The food was great. Had the Wednesday special, Prime Rib which was cooked to my liking. The veggies were fresh and had a great taste to them. My guest had the baby back ribs which were cooked to perfection, the meat was falling off the bones. Could have done without so much sauce, but in all the ribs were great. The cocktails were great, not watered down at all. The tropical Blend was very good, but I also liked the lemon martini. The service was good, we did not have to wait long for our order and we were seated right away. Our waitress was courteous and she had a good disposition. [25 Jan 2007 10:24:28]
