Power Bagels
I do not have an Einstein Bagel place where I live, in the summer or winter. When I am at my East Moline, IL address I always bring some back from Naperville when I am in that area. In the winter I am about 40 miles from Tucson. I always call ahead and order one dozen power bagels to bring home with me. The last time I got them home the power bagels looked as though they left the baking powder or baking soda out of the dough. They were hard and only about 1/2 thick. The inside was doughy. I did not have a chance to return them before I left on a trip and then when I returned it was time for me to fly back to East Moline, Illinois.    [24 Apr 2003 11:30:53]
