Best Italian by Far

Only OK Food
I've tried Traverso's 4 times... every time, the following applies.

* Seen better service at many places
* Menu items are OK. Definitely not "the best"

Cozy
I have patronized Traversos a few times. It is an enjoyable family style place with a comfortable atmosphere. I have never had bad service there. Keep an eye on the managers (brothers Paul and Mike T.). They are constantly roaming around frequently interacting with the customers and always striving to improve.    [03 Jan 2005 13:49:07]

Fabulous

Do Yourself a Favor
We've been going there for the last 10 years or so. We feel very much at home. Their menu is great. Pizza is unbelievable. The best I have ever had. The wait staff is always very attentive. The owners, Mike and Paul are always very concerned that you had a good experience. I'm sure that you will meet at least one of them. Non-pretentious Family Dining
Traverso's is awesome, the waitstaff is 100% friendly and attentive, and the food is fantastic. 3 Strikes, You're Out
I've tried Traverso's 3 times now and each time I swear I'll never go back. Food is mediocre. The thin crust pizza had no flavor. I'd rather eat frozen grocery store pizza. Poor service. The wait staff acted like they had better things to do.    [17 Jan 2006 17:18:15]

Are You Kidding?
I just discovered your site, and in response to the "3 strikes" review, I couldn't find those comments more ridiculous. Frozen pizza? Traverso's pizza is the best thin-crust pizza not only in Naperville, but the best I have had.
