Serving over 35 entrees daily. Specialties include steaks, ribs, seafood, pasta, and chicken. Offers a variety of horseshoes/ponyshoes - a local invention. Sandwiches are available for lunch and dinner as well. Full dessert menu.
Full service bar/lounge with tables and booths available for cocktails or dining. Two TVs tuned to news and sports.
Banquet rooms can seat up to 70.

Excellent restaurant
If you want great food in a relaxing atmosphere, this is the place. The waitresses are super friendly but don't smother. The dinners are cooked to perfection. I have been dining there for years and have never got anything that was not perfect. The restaurant is very roomy. It can be crowded in there but you still have space to breathe. One of Springfield's Best
We've been patrons of Fritz's in Springfield for years. I have never had anything but 100% perfection in their food, service, atmosphere and prices.
Their horseshoe sauce is fantastic - very much like the Springfield classic. The steaks are aged to perfection, and have an uncomparable flavor to anything I've ever experienced. Classic pan-fried chicken is always my kid's favorite. [10 Apr 2005 10:24:37]

Our favorite!
We travel over 60 miles just to dine at Fritz's. My husband and I feel that the New York Strip is the best steak we have ever had. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is incredible. Fritz's Wagon Wheel is, by far, our favorite place to eat. [12 Feb 2006 15:49:19]

My favorite
Fritz's is my #1 restaurant to dine at in springfield. It offers a nice quiet atmosphere and delicious food. They take reservations which is a plus, as most restaurants dont these days. There is room for large groups also. I always choose this restaurant for evenings out to dinner with friends or family. [14 Jul 2008 16:49:51]
