Pathetic!
It was 7:00PM on a Saturday night and the place was dead. We looked at the buffet and it looked like it hadn't been stirred and tended to for hours. The gravy and anything else that could be glazed over was glazed like film. The beans and other sides were dried out. We opted for the salad bar and a sandwich. The sandwich (Jimbo) was fair and the salad bar was horrible. Cottage cheese was warm as were several of the other sides. The service was rotten. You would think the place was full but the young staff were more interested in shooting the bull than helping a customer. We have lived in this town for many years and every time we try Jim Dandy again we are reminded why we still don't go there anymore. I used to love that place but now it's hard to imagine how they stay open.    [25 Jun 2005 21:47:20]

Great place to eat
They have the best people working there and the cooks are great. The place looks old but it is very clean even in the back. When business is slow, they are always cleaning.    [10 May 2007 10:24:51]
