Sushi is good, but stay away from the tempura
The headline pretty much says everything. Stick with the sushi. My husband and I tried the tempura,and the batter was much too thick. In addition, the crab tempura was very fishy. Admittedly, I don't expect the highest quality crab in that sort of dish, but it really wasn't very good. I had the sushi, and my husband the steak teriyaki. The latter was decent, but the sushi was on a higher level.

The best sushi and service anywhere
The sushi is the absolute best I have ever had anywhere in the country. I have never had anything less than excellant food and service. I would highly recommend Asakusa to anyone. I have also has awesome service everytime I have been there. I have been there at least once a month for the past 3 three years.    [12 Mar 2007 00:40:54]
