Located in the basement of an old, downtown building, Sugarmoon serves southern-style food, such as grits and catfish fillet, along with pasta dishes. The bare brick walls allow for a cozy atmosphere at night with subdued lighting, candles, and white tablecloths or a homey feeling on a Sunday afternoon with bright sunlight shining through the back windows. Reservations are always accepted, and strongly recommended on special occasions such as Valentine's Day.
