The Greatest Mexican Food!
Even from the parking lot, the fragrant, delicious smells whet your appetite. Typically, there is a wait at the door, but it's worth it. If you go at the right time, there is just enough time to enjoy a margarita or cerveza in the friendly bar. Ray will call your name and the party really gets started. The entire menu is excellent and the service is great. Perfect place for a couple, or, for a large group. The food is always fresh and the quality hasn't changed in the 25 years I have been eating here. Have the Carne Asada or the Fajitas. End it all with some flan or fried ice cream. Excellent Food

A little piece of Mexico in Hammond
You can smell the wonderful mexican fare outside when driving past. The best margaritas in the US. Everything on the menu is to die for. I never had a bad experience here. Best Mexican food I've had in Indiana
I used to work down the street from El Taco Real at Bishop Noll. Always looked forward to a visit even though at times there is a wait. It's well worth it, however, and the food is a big step above from the so-called Tex-Mex restaurant chains that have become so prevalent around the country. I now live in Fort Wayne and look forward to my occasional visit back home. I always order the soft pork tacos since it is the only restaurant I can find them in. I also enjoy the Nachitos.
