Crab Legs = crap legs This restaurant has been going down hill ever since they hit it big. Their big claim to fame is their crab legs which allows them to charge a premium price for their buffet, however in recent months their crab legs have consistently been over cooked, old, cold, over salted, and crumbly to say the best. You can hardly get anything out of them by the time you've had to use a fork or other device just to get the many pieces open (many pieces because they fall apart while you try to open them).
Apparently the restaurant owners think that us Americans don't know anything about eating crab. For those who are not aware, a good crab leg is a bright red color after cooking, and it snaps crisp when bent. Bad legs are those that are soft, dingy colored, have moss on the outside, are dark colored, and have been cold for longer than 5 minutes.
Owners - if you want business to continue then give the customer what you advertise. We want Crab Legs, not crap legs. [17 Jan 2004 11:40:22]

Worst treatment ever at any restaurant I went to 8 China Buffet last friday evening and received quite a shock. We arrived at 10:30, half an hour before the closing time. The manager said that they would serve us even though "it is so late" We sat down to eat and for the next 45 minutes were increasingly badgered and berated to hurry and finally to leave. At 10:45, the night manager made us pay so "I can go home". At 11, the waitress and the male night manager began to give us angry looks and come by the table to tell us with increasing frequency that we should hurry up. Finally the manager stood by our table looking at his watch and badgering me and my date until I stood up and had a tense confrontation with him. I returned the following Monday and spoke to the day manager. He refused to tell me the name or phone # of the owner, who he insisted "don't speak English". He also refused to tell me the name of the night manager but kept telling me that the night staff had reacted out of fear of being robbed "so late at night". Though "the manager" said he would look into the incident and call me, days later I have received NO response. The restaurant should either refuse service up front, or follow through on the customers it admits. As it was, an evening dinner out almost led to an altercation. To summarize, though the food was acceptable, I would NOT recommend this place based on the utterly bizarre and unprofessional treatment I received. [25 Feb 2004 01:24:09]
