Terrible Dining Experience
My husband, 2 grown children, grandson and I visited Buckhead Mountain grill last night to celebrate my birthday. Our experience was disappointing to say the least. We were seated immediately by the windows with a great view of Louisville. We ordered and were brought salads and hot rolls. So far, so good. My husband and I ordered steak/baked potato. The potato was cold and gummy and would not melt the butter. We told the waitress and she brought us fresh ones as our steaks grew cold. The steak was over cooked, dry, tough, and tasteless. I was unable to eat it. My grandson ordered the hot wings which were cold and tough. He couldn't eat them. We filled out the comment card and presented it directly to the manager. He came over to our party and without addressing our comments, said in a condescending way that if he knew it was my birthday he would have given me a sundae. I didn't want him to 'give' me anything other than what I paid for. Our bill was $70 and we left hungry.    [17 Nov 2005 14:00:06]

Great lunch
Service was prompt and friendly, iced tea very good, luncheon menu selected, soup and half sandwich, very timely, temperature perfect, enjoyed my experience tremendously.    [15 Mar 2007 21:31:32]

We just had dinner(ha ha) at this restaurant. It was a terrible experience. We had to beg for refills on our drinks. I had potato soup with no potatoes. The waitress spilled a whole glass of tea on my husband and pregnant daughter-in-law. My husband's new sandals (costing $50.00) were ruined. My daughter-in-law was soaked. The waitress said she wasn't used to plastic cups. She didn't bring napkins or help clean up the mess. The people at the next table gave us their napkins. I ordered a fish sandwich and substituted the soup for fries. They brought the sandwich with one small piece of fish and no soup. Then they brought the soup and said the sandwich would be right out. I did't eat the soup and by the time the sandwich arrived I wasn't hungry anymore. We were very disappointed with the service and the way we were treated. Our discounted bill was $55.00. We never have this kind of service at the Buckheads in Louisville. We will not be back.    [19 May 2007 21:44:37]
