poor service
My family and I went to the King Fish at the Jeffersonville, IN restaurant. There were 9 in our party. We were seated and I asked the host if this was a non smoking establishment and she said yes. So as we were seated the waiter overheard our conversation about smoking and he asked if we wanted to move to the smoking section and we told him the host told us there was no smoking here and he said yes there is and moved us to another location. The waitress that waited on us always seemed to be somewhere else besides waiting on us. We set there for a good 25 mins before our drinks were ordered, then another 40 before our food was brought out. I could understand the long wait if the restaurant was busy, but it was not busy. It was about 4:30 on a Thursday and hardly any customers. The food was brought out and we asked for tartar sauce which did not make it to out table until half our food was eaten. We had to look for the waitress to get refills on our drinks.

The food was good, we just had bad service. We spent $128.00 and felt like we could have been served better than we were.    [04 Sep 2005 09:12:35]

KingFish Rocks
My family and I went to the King Fish located in Jeffersonville, Indiana simply because we thought it would be a good place to eat and watch the fireworks across the river. What we didn't know was that there was a band playing outdoors as well. This was without a doubt the highlight of our night. Way to Go Kingfish!!
