The owners have been running the restaurant for decades. They cook according to old family recipes, and serve up the food in large portions. The menu changes based on what they feel like cooking, but some stand-bys are always there.
A great place for a hot meal, meeting with friends over coffee, or a quick bite of baklava.
There is no table service -- you order at the counter and they bring you the food. Thus, there is really no tipping.
There is no separate smoking section. [30 Oct 2004 19:36:26]

Awesome! I love the gyro sandwhiches like crazy and melt everytime I eat some of their divinely sinful baklava. This restaurant is one of the best Greek restaurants in the USA. It features a great family that sure knows how to cook and they are so freindly. If you are in Lafayette,IN this is THE place to eat. [11 Dec 2004 01:01:32]

Must try Greek Experience The friendliest place you could ever imagine. All food is made on premisis, it is as authentic as it gets anywhere. Their normal fair is exquisite with special greek dishes often. Witness the cooking and watch them cut the authentic Gyro right in front of you which is ground and seasoned by the owner on site. See the Saganaki(Flaming Cheese) prepared and join in on the Opah (Hurray) when it's set afire. Sit down and feel like you are a part of a Greek family, with the friendliest people you'll ever meet. Feels like stepping into "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". Run by the proverbial "Short Greek" of Mike Royko fame. Great restaurant. No table service is the only flaw. [17 Jul 2006 21:58:43]
