Must Go
Every town has a few must go places. This is one. The food doesn't matter. Everyone goes at least once, why, I'm not certain The dairy concoctions are good, the food is OK. This is a walk up and order at the window place. It's fun to go with a group.    [19 Jul 2006 12:17:42]

A Lafayette tradition!
I have gone to Budgie's since I was a child. I introduced my husband to Budgie's last year and now he is hooked. Real cherry sodas...excellent ice cream...fantastic prices, what more could you ask for?    [20 Feb 2008 11:38:23]

Generations of memories
I lived right down the street from Budges when I was a baby until I was 11 years old. Even after I moved across town and out of state, I would always return to Budges. The drinks and frozen concoctions are outstanding and uncomparable. This is the one spot in Lafayette that will always be home to many.    [28 Feb 2008 16:28:48]

mmmmm best coney dogs and cheese fries
