Hidden Gem
The Buttery Shelf Eatery serves a variety of home cooked cuisine specializing in soups and salads. I have had the pleasure of eating there once and having events catered by them on two occasions. The food is excellent and they have shown great care in treating each event as a special occasion. Their profits go towards a homeless shelter and they employ individuals with special needs, making it even more important that we, as a community take advantage of their services. Overall one of the best eating experiences I have had in Greater Lafayette.    [19 Feb 2006 21:23:25]

Definately on my favorite list....
The best soups in town are waiting for you at the corner of 10th and Main. A very pleasant staff all quick with the best eats of the day and a smile. I know I will become a regular. If you haven't tried The Butter Shelf...you don't know what you are missing...    [08 Sep 2006 13:07:33]
