Friendly Staff, Good Food
Working in Martinsville and being from out of state (NH), I tried Damon's on my first trip out here. I wanted a good BIG salad and couldn't by them here in the grocery stores (living in a hotel, so can't prepare them myself). Damons has GREAT BIG salads! Fresh produce nicely trimmed and cooked chicken in it (have had the breaded and the grilled, both very good). They have icy cold beers on special usually - 22 oz. for $2.00 - hard to beat that! Their onion loaf is awesome as is their HUGE chocolate malt cake. The staff is super from the manager to the servers and bartenders.
