House of Kobe is a favorite in our house! If you go to House of Kobe get a grill table. Very entertaining for young and old alike and worth what you spend. The filet melts in your mouth. The seafood fresh and tastes wonderful as well. [29 Jul 2005 17:34:54]

Food is good; customer service is horrible While the atmosphere is decent and the food is quite good, we will not return to this restaurant. The customer service is terrible. We sat at a table with many others around a grill & the waitress was extremely confused. We had incorrect orders delivered to all the wrong people. We were brought the wrong sushi dish. Then they brought another wrong sushi dish. The waitress said we would not be charged for the extra wrong dish that we did not order. Upon receiving the bill we saw that she did charge us. She claimed that she actually came out & told us that we would be charged for this wrong dish & demanded that we pay for it! We were referred to a rude man named Ken Chiang who claimed to be the owner. He also insisted that he was charging our group for this item. The management has remarkably terrible customer service skills. After 15 minutes of arguing, Ken refunded us the price of the dish. Too little..too late. [17 Feb 2006 23:06:01]

Entertainment plus excellence The restaurant is interesting, not pretentious. There is an air of anticipation before the chefs arrive. The service is good before and during the meal. Two highlights - the chefs are first rate, using knife handling and fire to entrance and entertain the audience. Second, the food is mouth-watering. I especially enjoyed the very fresh shrimp, which was just wonderful, and the cooked-to-order filet mignon. Also, the scallops simply melted in my mouth, no tough rubber scallops found here!
