Unexpected in Valparaiso, Indiana
I had occasion to visit Valparaiso last week on business and happened upon Clayton's Restaurant located near the Court House square in downtown Valparaiso. I experienced one of the most enjoyable evenings at this metropolitan hideaway. The ambiance and service were incredible. I felt like I was dining in Chicago or New York City. What impressed me the most was the food and presentation. The Chef's name is William Potts. According to his staff, he is self taught,which absolutely amazed me. It has been a long time since I've tasted such a sophisticated blend of flavors. I only hope Valparaiso appreciates this gem.    [04 Jul 2004 00:36:02]
