Traditional Japanese Fine Dining serving appetizers and salads such as kushi katsu, yaki-tori, gyoza, shishamo, teriyaki chicken, spicy beef, tofu salad, tuna and avocado salad, su no mono, teriyaki beef steak, chicken tempura, and una jyu. Other specialties are sushi, noodles, rice, and also offering dessert. Drinks include soft drinks, beer, whisky, and house wines. Considered a special place for celebrations also, they take free pictures and offer a special dessert (ice cream with a candle, fruit or something.) Located in the Payless strip mall at the corner of US 52 and Salisbury.

Best in West Lafayette
Let me begin by stating that I know a thing or two about sushi. I've eaten sushi in countless restaurants all over the country. As is to be expected for Indiana, the quality of the fish leaves something to be desired. However, it is better than anywhere else in town. They have the best pickled ginger I have ever tasted. The atmosphere is also nicer than 95% of Japanese restaurants in the America. If you want to show someone that there is culture in West Lafayette, take them to Heisei.    [22 Aug 2004 00:13:16]
