My Son recommended Gisela's
Myself I am from Munich, so I wanted to try it out. It was nice, but the food didn't impress me to much.
Especially the Bread, we would never serve that kind of Bread in Germany with a meal. The Goulash surprised me too, never is Goulash served in Germany made out of Chicken or whatever it was. Potato Salad was very average, not the best!
I guess if You don't know real Bavarian Food You don't know the difference, but I did. The Purple Cabbage would have been better out of a Can! The Place itself was very nicely decorated, it impressed me. It is overpriced for the Quality of Food.
The Beer was the only thing which tasted like in Germany, naturally it was brewed in Munich.    [11 Sep 2005 19:59:36]
