River House was quite good
By far, the RiverHouse is the nicest restaurant in the Town of Atchison. Beautiful view of the River right out the window. Delectable menu, varies. The soups are always quite nice as well as the steaks. They have a wonderful chicken salad croissant as well as a large portioned Rueben. Something for everyone.    [02 May 2005 18:31:54]

A Pleasant Surprise
We didn't know what to expect at the River House and were quite impressed. The appetizers were quite good. My wife and I both had steaks and they were excellent. We ordered medium rare and both were cooked perfectly. A nice touch was a fine layer of spices and pepper which was added to the steaks before cooking. It added a very flavorful touch without taking away from the quality of the meat. Desserts were also excellent. I had chocolate spoon cake which was a nice peice of rich chocolate fudge cake with a large portion of cream and chocolate sauce. A Chocoholic's dream. Superb
The best resataurant in a 30 mile radius. Everything was just great. They sell Baby Back Ribs on Fridays and they just fall right off the bone. It is a must try.    [10 Feb 2006 09:40:05]

Wonderful
I had lunch at the Riverhouse and it was the best meal I have had in a long time! And the building was so pretty, I had only been there 10 minutes bfore I decided to have my weeding reception there!! My waitress wasnt very nice but overall I was happy with the experience.    [13 Feb 2006 14:12:09]
