Best Burgers in KS Super quality beef makes these burgers outstanding. The fact that they are sold in an old-fashioned diner atmosphere just adds to the experience. Fries are OK; rings are excellent, and the malts are superb.
I'm told the chicken is "to-die-for" too. It's what the owner was eating the last time we drove the 20 miles to eat there. I just can't pass up the burgers to try the chicken. [30 Dec 2003 18:37:07]

Blazer Burgers Blazers has been one of my favorite hometown restaurants since 1985. I've lived in Gardner for almost 20 years, and I love eating there. There food is excellent, and the service is very fast and friendly. [30 Aug 2004 16:59:57]

Concession Stand Food & Prices to Match Blazer Burger has been a staple in Gardner for years. I can remember going there in grade school. In high school, I chose not to anymore because the food wasn't really that good. As a "thirtysomething" adult, I tried it out again a few months ago. I was astounded by the horrific prices, no value meals, and still poor quality of food. I compare it to a concession stand at a sports game, same quality and feel, even the menu board looks like it belongs in concession, and just as high, if not higher, prices. The service was great, as it always has been. But I'm not willing to pay more for average food just because of service. [03 Nov 2005 23:50:48]

Blazers Restaurant - Best Burger Anywhere Blazers has been around for over 30 years, and it's not by accident. The food is fresh and the people are great. I have eaten there for years and don't miss an opportunity to visit. The burgers are the signiture item, but go back enough to have the grilled chicken, fried chicken, taco salad or baked potato soup and chili. I could eat there everyday, and at times nearly have. I read Tammy's review and I am amazed at her comments. Nothing she mentioned is remotely accurate, unless you count "no value meals". Thank goodness there are still hometown restaurants that you don't have to order your food by number. If that is what Tammy is looking for in a restaurant, she can find it on any corner in America. (What in the world would qualify her to comment on good food.) There is only one Blazers Restaurant, and thank goodness it is located in Gardner, Kansas. [30 Jan 2006 19:37:20]

Freshest, Fast food restaurants are serving us crap and some of you are eating it!! Not literally, but it tastes like it. The folks at Blazer's seem to be taking a very different approach. In fact, it's just the opposite. Great tasting, fresh, made to order old fashioned mouth watering burgers. Even other places who advertise this don't deliver. But Blaser's does. I believe it's the owners that are always there when I come in at lunch time and they seem to focus more on quality than speed. But they'd probably be offended if you called their meals "fast food" because Blazer's quality is in a league of their own. Add a side of their onion rings and an oreo shake and I am set. I'll admit that it may takes a few more minutes, but it's worth it!! [20 Jul 2006 01:13:51]

Good food, home-town attitude I love going to Blazers. After just a few visits they know your name and greet you by it when you walk in the door. Lots of local sports memorbilia and the best fried chicken in town! [29 Sep 2006 09:31:38]
