A trip back in time
The building is just wonderful! If you mentally remove the pool tables it really could be that you were in an old time era. The food was great but their award winning home brewed beer was the best! I have been there several times with friends and none of us have ordered anything that didn't work. It is all really good. Just don't be on a diet.    [10 Aug 2005 10:54:24]

Stay away from the beer
The food is standard American pub fair at best. Most of the menu was high in saturated fats and cholesterol offering very little in the way of lighter fare. The homebrewed beer was plain awful. Our table ordered 6 different beers of which most either tasted infected with lactobacillus or were chock full of tannins which left you wishing the waitress would come by to refill your water, if you were lucky enough to have been brought a glass in the first place. Service was slow on each visit as was the time to get food after ordering. The quickest time was over 30 minutes with one time coming close to 60. Unless you are there to throw darts, shoot pool or smoke cigarettes I would say find someplace else in town.    [14 Dec 2006 16:10:25]
