Great ambiance for a romantic dinner or special occasion
Great atmosphere. Even when the restaurant is crowded, we have never felt any pressure to rush through dinner or skip coffee/dessert following dinner.
The food has been outstanding on every visit. Favorite entrees are the roasted duckling with cherry sauce and the elk filet.
Reservations haven't seemed necessary on Wednesday or Thursday nights, but I would recommend calling ahead on Friday or Saturday nights to avoid a wait.    []

Best kept secret in Kansas
This is our favorite restaurant. The food is always superb, and the setting perfect for romantic dining or dinner parties. Everyone we eat here with has a favorite dish, the first thing they try. I always order the cranberry bbq porkchop, a thick, smoky sweet and sour chop that is always moist and tender. The flavor is out of this world!
