We had the worst service at this Fire Mountain. We have not heard anything good about the service at this restaurant but decided to try it for ourselves.

The food was great although we had to wait forever to get a slice of ham. Then when we did get someone to wait on us, we got a very small slice, and the gentleman did not speak English so he did not know what we were saying when we asked for another piece. We had to ask a waiter if we could get our drinks (after we were done with our salads) and he told us he was not our waiter, but would find out who was. When he returned, he said our waiter was on break and would be with us "in a little while."

Finally after we were almost done with our first plate of food, we flagged down a waitress and told her our situation, she got our drinks. Knowing we were not happy, she asked if we would like some hot rolls, we told her yes, since there were not any out when we went through the buffet line. We never did get any. When our drinks were gone and we were ready for a refill, we had to flag down another waitress (still not knowing who our waiter was), to get us a refill.

As we were ready to leave, 40 minutes later, our waiter finally came up to ask us if we needed anything, told him "No, it was too late for that." Also told him the same situation we had encountered and he just left without saying a word.

We have 3 daughters who are waitresses; therefore we know they do not get paid a lot and depend on their tips. This is the first time we have ever left a restaurant without leaving any tip at all. We will not make this a place to frequent and will also tell our friends they were right. This needs some immediate attention for the restaurant to succeed. We were very dissapointed in the service but the food was decent.    [12 Oct 2006 16:05:07]
