Best Fillet Mignon I've ever had
Daimaru is my favorite place to eat in Salina. They serve by far the best oriental food, with superb fried rice and noodles. Daimaru offers a fair sized menu with seafood, chicken, and red meats. Their chicken is full of flavor, and the red meats melt in your mouth, although I can't vouch for the seafood, because I am allergic. Service is very good, I've never had an empty glass or had to ask for anything. Once ordered, diners receive an oriental chicken soup with every meal, and a salad with choice of dressings (Ginger is my favorite). Soon thereafter, a chef comes to the table, and cooks the food before you, performing impressive tricks all the while. Kids LOVE this part. Make sure that someone in your party orders fried rice, and see the amazing onion volcano. With supper comes rice and noodles, and a side of veggies. Every dish also comes with shrimp, which skilled diners can catch in their mouth.

Overall, Daimaru is a great place to eat, and the show is almost worth going by itself. It's great for parties, and children love watching the chef spin their knives and toss eggs. Evry time I come to Salina, I make a point of stopping here.    [06 Jan 2006 17:55:29]

Wow, what a place!!!
Very nice place, reasonably priced. Waiter was very professional and attentive. We had the K.C. Strip and Shrimp. I highly recommend the Spider roll (Sushi)    [01 Apr 2006 21:40:42]
