Chicken Dinner What a treat! Family style chicken dinner on Mon. and Tues. nights. Make reservations, as it's popular. This is a big treat for our family, and we've been to lots of wonderful places. The food is wonderful...tastes like grandma's, and is brought to the table warm and quickly. Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits, green beans, and coleslaw are included in the price. The sides are all you can eat, and each adult gets 4 nice pieces of chicken. This is one of northern KY's best secrets! [09 Feb 2004 20:31:19]

The Greyhound Tavern Delivers Northen Kentucky's Best Authentic Dining Experience Trying to find a warm, friendly environment where a versatile blend of authentic homestyle meets creativity on the menu? Look no further than the Greyhound Tavern in Fort Mitchell. This century-old restaurant is just minutes from I-71/75 (east off of the Turkeyfoot Exit), and instantly welcomes you with its charm and the staff's hospitality. Known for some gigantic portions, start with the onion rings, or if you prefer cheese, the fried cheese starter. You won't be disappointed, with both generous dishes enough to knock down hunger until your entree arrives. If you stop in for lunch, try a sandwich. The steak sandwich is delicious, and a perfect size for a filling lunch. Both the Reuben and the Hot Brown are also great choices, reasonably priced and satisfying. Best of all, they come right out of your mother's kitchen on her best day: fresh, filling, and just like you remembered them, if Mom was on the top of her game! Soups and salads are also good lunch choices, if you are in the mood. Dinner has even more to offer, so be sure to ask about the specials. The best pick is the fried chicken, easily the best in the region. If you'd like to have a nice, relaxing meal and have a shot at sampling an impressive portion of the menu, aim for Sunday Brunch at the Greyhound. There is simply no finer experience than enjoying this buffet, along with a mimosa or poinsettia, with some family and friends. After a few meals at the Greyhound, you will find that you have a new set of friends as well, with the attentive, courteous and beaming staff. Easy to find, reasonably priced delicious food, and an historic environment all add up to the finest authentic NKY dining experience. Enjoy! [21 Dec 2006 11:27:13]
