Best Filet Mignon in Town!! This place has the best filet in town! I have eaten practically everything on the menu & their chef, Bob Andrews is to be applauded!!! If you enjoy ambience in a truly eclectic setting where you will see a very interesting and artistic patronage, Mia's is as far as you need to go! (And it's right in the middle of downtown Lexington, which is SO much more fun than these strip mall places. [08 Dec 2003 23:05:16]

Best Crab cakes west of Maryland!! A hip, metropolitian place to eat, drink and be happy. Staff is great. Soft drinks are served in glasses you would find in your Grandma's cabinet. The crab cakes were flaky and tender plus delicious. Nice wine list, some by glass, some by the bottle. Great place to eat during Gallery Hop, before a concert or hitting the bars & clubs. Parking is a task, must park on street or nearby parking garages. [17 Jun 2004 21:55:29]

Mia's We have always enjoyed coming downtown and suporting Mia's, but the last few times we have come down on a Tues.or Weds.evening, there's hardly anyone there? I realize it is the middle of the week. dining room needs some attention, dull, dark bar like, food is still pretty good though, but the fish and chips are overpriced for what you get. Friends suggested we visit Mia's. The ambiance brings a person into a welcoming "world", showing fairness to all patrons. Mia's has fantistic food. One rule, "At Mia's everyone is expected to behave nice". It is a place of camaraderie, live music on the weekends, a comfortable place for women. If you visit Mia'a you will want to return. Terrible Experience As visitors we looked on this site for guidance on where to have a fantastic dinner - we decided on Mia's - what a mistake. My wonderful husband who is accepting of my terrible cooking left 3/4ths of his ribeye behind. Crab cakes where dripping in grease and although we tried to find crab; we were unable. My chicken dish was again dripping in grease. This was marginal bar food at best - not sure who the above reviewers are but my guess is they are personal friends to the owner. "Upper room" reeked of cigarette smoke -On the upside the waiter was nice. Good luck - especially if you eat here....pack the tums [13 Jun 2008 23:39:31]
